About Me
I entered the birth world after going through the beautiful journey with my first born. I was inspired by the strength of a woman's body and the miracle of birth. This is why I wanted to train to become a certified Doula and Childbirth Educator because I believe its so crucial to give women the right education and guidance to help them get the birth experience they deserve. After going through my own postpartum experiences, I realized there were traditional postpartum practices that helped with the healing journey post birth. I am from two different cultures and each of these hold their own beautiful traditional postpartum practices that my grandmother brought my attention to. I wanted to continue to revive and carry out these traditional practices for myself and for the women in my community and thus I also became a Traditional Postpartum Doula as well. I am a Mother of three boys and someone who has had the chance to experience different births and varying postpartum experiences.
Every woman deserves to have someone there to guide and assist them in making educated choices about their pregnancy, and remind them that they can trust the strength of their bodies during this time. I’m here to provide unbiased information and emotional support. Please reach out would love to chat more.
